Removing Pet Hair from Upholstery and Carpets
Most often pet hair can be simply removed by wiping the surface with a damp sponge, cloth, or even your hand. When removing pet hair from a carpet the first step (naturally) is to vacuum. If you are not satisfied with the results ‘pet sponges’ are available at most pet stores and work great.
A cool and efficient way to remove pet hair from almost any surface is with the help of static. Inflate a balloon and rub it across the surface invade by the hair. The static created should attracted the hair which will cluster atop the balloon. This method also works with rubber and latex gloves.
To prevent future pet hair incidents make sure to groom your pets regularly to reduce the amount of loose hair on them.
