Cleaning Up Soap Scum

Cleaning up soap scum is not a task most look forward to. When ignored, soap scum hardens up and becomes a great feat to remove. To prevent this from happening, the best thing to do is simply wipe away soap scum accumulation before it dries. Prevention is ideal but it doesn’t always happens. Follow these steps to efficiently clean up soap scum.

When cleaning up hardened soap scum, the two substances you should choose from are vinegar and baking soda. Have the vinegar in a spay bottle and spay at the soap scum. Scrub away with a damp sponge or cleaning cloth. If using baking soda, sprinkle some powder onto a damp sponge of cloth and scrub away. This should clean up the soap scum. Remember, best way is still prevention!
